Spend a weekend training on the IronMan Lake Placid course with 8 time IMLP Finisher, Coach Mark Wilson.
Learn the ins and outs of this famous and most loved venue for the sport of triathlon.
Arrive on Friday by noon and prepare for video tape analysis of your swim in Mirror Lake, right on the course. Instruction follows with more video taping.
The same course of action for your run technique with video, instruction in the POSE Method, and more video analysis.
We will then take off on the beautiful yet tricky in places bike course. We won’t be doing the whole course at once, so no worries on your fitness level, but we will focus on gearing and technique as well as strategy for this course.
Classroom time on Friday afternoon will focus on the videos.
Saturday will start with a morning run where we will again work on the POSE Method, a method of running that can keep you injury free for life.
Breakfast made by the coach himself will follow and is included in the cost of camp. All other meals are on your own.
Then we will head out for a “long” bike ride.
Lunch and rest will follow.
Another swim and then classroom time where we will discuss nutrition, mental strategy, transition and time for Q&A.
Sunday will be another day much like Saturday.
Monday morning will start with a run, followed by breakfast and then a recovery swim. One-on-one sessions with Coach Mark will follow with everyone able to leave and get checked out by noon.
You will leave camp with a better understanding of the Lake Placid course and training information to get you thru your season with a PR.
