Spend a week focusing on the climb!
All aspects of the triathlon will be covered at this camp; both weeklong and weekend. However, we come to Mount Lemmon to climb! This 28 mile mountain with only a 5% grade is the perfect place to gain skills in your cycling. With a SAG vehicle the entire way, you will never be without the right clothing, water, fuel and support. You do the amount of climbing you feel comfortable with. And then there is the downhill….it takes skill and patience and best to tackle with someone that has done it before. You will come away from this camp with more skills than you ever thought you’d acquire on a bike.
Weeklong camp begins on Sunday evening with a group dinner/meet and greet to get everyone familiar with one another and discuss our camp goals as well as our overall triathlon goals.
Monday morning starts with a group run where you will be video taped both before and after instruction in the POSE Method of running. Learn to move your body the way it was designed to move to keep yourself injury free for life.
Breakfast each day is prepared by the coach himself and is included in the cost of camp. All other meals are on your own.
Cycling will focus on the climbing of Mt. Lemmon all week. We will ride the mountain together with pre-planned stopping points.
The swimming will take place in a local pool where we will again utilize video tape analysis and focus on your stroke with drills that you can use on your own to keep yourself in-line and performing at your best.
Classroom time is relaxed and casual where we will discuss nutrition, mental strategy, training plans, transition and more.
Camp ends on Friday by noon for check out and departure time.
Currently there is one room available at the B&B we will be staying at. Contact Coach Mark Wilson directly for more information at 914-466-9214 or email@example.com. If looking for a hotel or Airbnb please search closest to Mount Lemmon.
Weekend camp will cover all of the same great information that we cover during the week just in a compressed time frame. Friday noon to Sunday noon. Breakfast included on Saturday and Sunday.
