Join us on Saturday July 18th for the 11th annual Delta Lake Sprint, Olympic, and Delta Double Triathlon at Delta Lake State Park, presented by Wilson Endurance Sports in cooperation with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation – Central Region.
Schedule of Events:
Friday – 12pm – 8pm Packet Pick Up and bike drop off (optional) at the race site.
Saturday – 5am – 6:45am – Sprint registration and transition
7am – Sprint Triathlon, AquaBike and Relay team START
6:45am – 8:10am – Olympic registration and transition
8:30am – Olympic Triathlon, AquaBike and Relay team STAT
9am – 10:40am – Registration and transition open for Kids Triathlon
11am – Kids Triathlon START
Sprint & Olympic
**Olympic participants will complete 2 loops of each course.
The event will begin on the shores of the beach, with transition adjacent to the bath house. Athletes will swim 750m followed by a 10.7 mile bike loop and then complete a 5K run ON AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT COURSE IN 2020 WITHIN THE STATE PARK GROUNDS.
These participants will start at the same time as the triathlon athletes and the competition will end once they finish the bike course. Finish times are recorded as you enter transition off of the bike. Finishers will make their way to the Finish Line at their leisure to receive their Finisher Medal.
The Sprint and Olympic Triathlon can be entered as a relay team of 2 or 3 members; each completing 1-2 of the event legs. Team members exchange timing chip inside the transition area.
Compete in the Sprint Triathlon in 1:25 or less and begin the Olympic Triathlon for almost a half iron race distance.
For ages 4 – 13.
All ages will complete a 50M swim, 1 mile bike, 400M run.
Age groups as follows: 12 & 13, 10 & 11, 8 & 9, 6 & 7, 5 & 4. **Parents are allowed to stay with their children on all legs but must not interfere with or assist any participant.
Athletes 13 & Under who would like to compete in the Sprint Triathlon are required to have a parent contact Race Director Mark Wilson to verify qualifications.

Beer supplied by Southern Tier Brewing Company (must be 21 years of age)
Post race snacks will be available. Food can be purchased from the Delta Lake State Park concession stand.
Water & Hammer Nutrition at start/finish, transition and three locations on the run course. No fluids offered on bike course.
Restrooms at the race start/finish
On-course bike support.
No rollerblades, skateboards, or motorized vehicles. No dogs. No unregistered participants. No transferring of bib #’s to other people. Headphones discouraged.
All races are USAT sanctioned and all rules and regulations apply, and there will be no refunds for this event. Race is held Rain or Shine. Helmets must be worn and buckled before leaving transition. NOTE, bar ends must be plugged (plugs are readily available at bike shops). Any bike without bar ends plugged will not be allowed to race. It is the participant’s responsibility to know the rules for an event sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
If not a current USAT member you will be required to purchase one day event coverage during registration or on race day. $15 for Adults, $10 for ages 17 & Under. Cash, Check or debit/credit card ($2.50 service fee)
There is NO refund for this event nor may you transfer your registration or bib to someone else. However, with ADVANCE (not race day or after) notice, you may defer to 2021 or transfer to another Wilson Endurance Sports event race.
